by In June 2009, the now-defunct studio Radical Entertainment released Prototype. For those unfamiliar with the license, it was an open-world action game in which Alex Mercer used destructive powers.
Although it got a sequel was released three years later, it unfortunately failed to live up to expectations. Activision then buried the franchise, but leaker Bigbyy claims to have heard of a new entry.
According to him, this new Prototype would see the player once again embody Alex Mercer in New York. The gameplay would include the ability to metamorphose in order to infiltrate areas by taking on the appearance of other characters.
Of course, it’s best to take all this with a grain of salt until these rumors can be verified..
